Do you want chickens, but don't want to wait 4 months for them to begin laying eggs?  Now you can skip most of the wait.  These young hens will begin laying their first eggs in early April and will be very productive. They have been raised on only 100% Certified Organic Feed.

Here is the description from Moyer's about the breed.

Moyer’s brown egg layer is a hybrid cross between a White Rock egg-layer type female and a Rhode Island Red male. Sustained production with months over 90% is normal. This layer produces up to 300 eggs by 72 weeks of age on 3 pounds of feed per dozen eggs produced. The mature layer weighs 4.5 pounds and is very docile and durable during cold winter months. This breed is the ideal layer for small family farms as well as large commercial operations.
